Maggie Boggs is thrilled to be teaching ballet at Still Pointe this year. As a not-so-long-ago graduate of Still Pointe, Maggie loves the heart behind Still Pointe and cherishes the eight years she spent training under the direction of Eleanor Rogers.

After high school, she was accepted to the dance department at Kennesaw State University, where she studies both English and dance as a student in the Honors College. She hopes to dance professionally in a small company after graduation. Maggie will always treasure her first love in the dance world, ballet, but her dance studies at KSU have allowed her to develop a passion for contemporary and improvisation. Aside from dancing at school, Maggie dances with Bluebird: uncaged and Moto Artis. Maggie also enjoys choreographing, and created pieces for various Uncaged Christmas shows. In the summer of 2016, she traveled with Bluebird: uncaged to the nation of Panama.

Maggie considers dance a powerful tool to tell stories, and ultimately a platform on which to proclaim the greatest story ever told—the story of Jesus. She would like to help her students discover the joy and freedom that comes from movement. In her free time, Maggie writes, dreams, and plays with her basset hound, Hazel.
