Kate Edmunds
Kate grew up in Cumming, GA and began taking ballet lessons at the age of 3. Kate trained under Eleanor Rogers at Still Pointe from age 7 until she graduated from high school. Still Pointe has been a blessing to Kate throughout her life. Some of her best friends to this day are friends she met at Still Pointe.
During her dance career, Kate participated in the Youth America Grand Prix competition and attended numerous summer programs including Cincinnati Ballet, the Rock School in Philadelphia, and Atlanta Ballet. Her favorite role she performed was Swanhilda in Coppélia.
Kate made the decision to not pursue dance post-high school, and to pivot her life to pursue another career. In 2023, she graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Georgia. She currently works in Wealth Management at a firm based in Buckhead.
Kate is also Still Pointe’s resident photographer! She absolutely loves getting to photograph performances and host other photoshoots at the studio. She married her husband, Dalton, in 2024 and together they live in Cumming, GA with their puppy, Strider.
