Maia Charanis

Maia Charanis grew up dancing in Atlanta, Georgia with Dancer’s Studio Backstage and Atlanta Dance Theatre. As a company member Maia attended and performed at annual festivals such as SERBA and RDA. In 2014 Maia graduated from North Springs Charter High School where she was a member of the North Springs Dance Company. In 2018 Maia graduated magna cum laude from the University of South Carolina with a bachelor’s degree in Dance Performance and Choreography, where she was received the Director’s Award, and performed works by choreographers such as George Balanchine, Paul Taylor, and Bryan Arias. After earning her degree Maia returned to Atlanta, joined Kit Modus and started teaching around the metro Atlanta area. Maia is so grateful to have found Still Pointe, and considers the studio a home away from home.

Maia quickly became a treasured teacher at Still Pointe and integral part of the Still Pointe community.
